How to get here

Box 54 at the Praia do Forte Craft Center, R. dos Benvindos, s/n — Mata de São João, BA. The whale trip is the only one that boards elsewhere: at the cross in front of the São Francisco chapel.

Every day, 8am to 6pm.

Pet policy

We are pet friendly. Please let us know in advance — the owner is always responsible. Not recommended on the quad bike; the buggy is the best option if you're bringing a pet.

What to bring

Swimwear, sunscreen, a towel, light clothes, sandals and cash for extra expenses.

Safety

  • Helmet mandatory for the whole quad bike route, removed only at authorised stops.
  • Every participant gets a safety briefing and a practical demonstration before the activity starts.
  • Following the guide's instructions is mandatory — speed limits, allowed routes and stopping points.
  • On whale-watching trips, sea safety decides the operation — we never promise a guaranteed sighting.

Driving rules (Quad Bike)

  • A valid driver's licence, category A or B, is required for the driver.
  • Maximum speed allowed: 25 km/h.
  • Dangerous manoeuvres are forbidden — wheelies, skidding or sharp turns at high speed.

Frequently asked questions

Is a whale sighting guaranteed?

No. It's nature — we never promise a guaranteed sighting, but the time at sea is worth the trip.

Do I need a driver's licence to drive the quad bike?

Yes. A valid category A or B licence is required and must be shown before the tour. Driving the quad bike is simple and everyone gets a safety briefing, but whoever drives needs a licence.

Can I bring children?

On the buggy, yes, under the parents' responsibility. On the quad bike, over 10 years old and only as a passenger, under the guardians' responsibility.

What is the cancellation policy?

One reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours' notice. Apart from cases provided by law, there is no free cancellation for a change of mind. See the full Cancellation, Rescheduling, Punctuality and Operating Conditions Policy (in Portuguese).
